It is very effective partly because when you look at it you can tell that something is not right but it takes a while to work out what it is. I find that these images have an uncomfortable element to them, something that I like.

I love this one, I happened upon it a while ago by chance on a 'photo of the year' site. To those who were wondering it does indeed seem to be a self portrait, and I'd say this young photographer likes her mirrors!

Excellent. I just saw it of Facebook when someone linked to it. The link had probably been through many people before I saw it, and the original source had been lost. Nice to put a name to the image! Good sleuthing, Mathew.
