I miss my buddy Al...

We took some nice walks together. Al and his nose and me with my camera. I had planned on cropping this image a bit until I saw his smiling face and then couldn't bring myself to cut him from the image.

He didn't get into every shot that day.catwalk2.jpg

Love these John. Especially the last. Those angles, the clean lines and order, a juxtaposition with the graffiti. The dog. Or your dog Al I aught to say, I've never been bothered by cut off's in photographic menages. Every image is a cut of a detail and this one works well for myself, maybe more so than imagining Al as in there with a full shot. A keen budding model and always a photo to remember.

We've had a few dogs on this forum, one in particular whose demise is much lamented. Nice to see another. I'd be the perfect person to have a dog - I'm at home all the time, and go walkies once a day, but, alas, I'm allergic to them. I know you get low-allergenic dogs, but they still bring on asthma in me. So, I take delight in seeing dogs on this forum. It's about time one of them joined as a member! Does Leica do a doggie-cam?

Fine images, John. I love the whisps of cloud in the last one.

Great images John, also of the dog Al. I as Rob here am allergic to cats, dogs, hay and Scotsmen. I sneeze every time I see them, but I like them and take pills whenever I am exposed to them:D

If you ever need to conjure up a dog Rob, shake you head

Nice group John, and that canine grin is certainly worthy of capturing...we really do grow very attached to them...
