I sold one of my spare cameras today

This D7100 had been replaced by a D7200, so I decided to sell it.

Found a buyer who paid for it today. Guess how I'm spending my evening.

Martin nailed it, except the glasses weren't large or alcoholic. I was all over ebay, b&h, and adorama. Hey, I've got several hundred dollars extra in my gear budget this month. I need to get busy if I want to spend all of it.

Waiting to see what that sd-h is going to cost. The larger sensor should cure some of the issues with high iso noise in the current quattros.
So Nikon D7100 wasn't good enough anymore, in high ISO's right. I know someone who has a hard time letting go of old stuff, and now he's stuck, - with 'em:D Atta a way to go John!

The D7100 wasn't all that good at high iso. I didn't like using more than 800. However, in that comment I was referring to the DP Quattros and their poor reputation when it comes to high ISO.

Yes, spare camera my foot.
Digital cameras lose their value very quickly. I see no reason for keeping a digital camera that has been superseded by its successor, like in this case with a D7100 replaced by a D7200. I do, however, see plenty of reasons to sell such a camera so I can use the money to buy more collectible vintage cameras. By selling this one, the total number of cameras I own may actually go up.
