Interesting Rob. The lighthouse as does the pier dominates over the figures for size. For me the grainy top half does flatten the image, the perspective from the right side figures to the lighthouse is countering that, so lots going on of interest. Like this a lot.

Yes the lighthouse dominates but the two figures on the right continually draw the eye. I like it a lot also.

Really like the composition and shape of this but I feel the grain is a bit too heavy.
The figures are nicely placed.

I like the effect and texture reminds me more of art paper than grain. Given the crop, the one thing I would do is manipulate the image to make the lighthouse more vertical. What do you think?
