Meaningful composition, Pete. :)

Paying respect to the composer of IMAGINE (that we won't need to use our legs to walk one day)

What do you call a group of Segways?

A plunge of Segways perhaps? ;)

I like the contrast of the older men on the Segways, and the younger women all on foot - it's as if the Segway guys are tourists from another dimension, come to observe our world.

And in that other dimension they wear silly helmets and nerdy jackets :D

I always think of shopping mall security guards when I see Segways. Even in this age when nerds are cool, these things aren't.

Fabuloso, Pete! Love the colors and messages oan the wa' as well as the people engaging in deeply philosophical conversations.

Budget cuts....

I've never seen these in the wild before!

I used to have a Sinclair C5 and even managed to roll one that had a petrol engine in it:o, but I'd still love to have a go on one of them Segway things (even if the guy who invented them killed himself on one[doh]).

These are quite common in the US, but are banned on public roads in Britain, so that's why you guys aren't familiar, I think. The guy who died riding one was a Brit. He recently bought the company. But he did not invent it. That was Dean Kamen, who is still alive.
