Cheers Kev, I know she has ... I have taught her to say cheese though ... One of about 20 words she can say well (although sometimes it comes out as 'shoes'

Nicely caught and definitely has your docu-photo style. It seems you have developed a hankering for film compact film cameras?

thanks Paul, I'm glad there is an identifiable style in there somewhere!

As for the cameras ... It might sound a bit lame, but I feel like I'm getting back to my 'roots' ... My first camera was a fixed lens 90's point and shoot, I loved the thing! Cut my teeth on composition with it etc. it's just such a fun way to take photos! No worrying about any go damn settings, I'm 10 times happier with the results, all the joys of the anticipation of having to actually wait for the photos! Love it! ... I'm not sure, but I have probably taken more photos with compact cameras and xp2 that I am happy with in the last 3 weeks than I did with any one camera last year (bar the rx100 - at a push) ... It's just easier! And more damn fun - and I'm pretty sure fun should be a big element of photography!

Damn dad with his bloomin cameras! :D

she doesn't know any better ... She is going to think it odd that other dads don't take so many photos!

Any chance of a caption competition Hamish this would have made a great subject :p

fill your boots mate :)

Great framing Hamish. :)

Cheers Pete!

As Pete says great framing. Superb. She looks very purposeful and intent. Practicing for the teen years.

haha... Yeah... Probably... She has the temper of a teen down so the stroppy exits are def on the cards!

I reckon she's thinking "When you're ready to look at me with both eyes I'll be in here with Mum and the dog!!!"...
