confirmed today I have secured my first exhibition running next year from July to September it is in the touristy venue of Discovery Point in Dundee. The venue celebrates the RRS Discovery , the ship used by Captain Scott

The exhibition will consist of between 30 and 50 photographs and will be a completely solo show

I had a meeting today with the Heritage Director and luckily me and her are on the same page as to how we want to approach it, we also agreed that I will get the prime summer spot when the venue attracts most people and therefore more people seeing and maybe even buying

yeah, by the end of next month the whole of 2013 will be booked. It's a major tourist attraction in Dundee and with the exhibitions lasting for 3 months they only have 4 spots a year so i am very lucky to have not only got one but got the prime one

Thanks Pete, I don't know about deserved, there was a lot of good luck regarding timing and it worked in my favour... actually all in all it's been a good , I have been offered 2 jobs in 3 days then the confirmation of this show, so definitely one of my better weeks
