Impossible Still Life I

A work in progress and neither the final arrangement nor the final scans, but here are a few shots taken using Imposssible B&W film and a n SX-70.

The camera was strapped to the top of a large tripod head with a band (I have now ordered the tripod adapter) and the objects were placed on a black velvet background and lit with a single, large softbox positioned directly overhead. Only the modelling lamp was used and exposure was adjusted using the light / dark wheel on the camera. Prints were scanned using a Microtek 1000XL.

Bloody Hell, these are AMAZING! Stunning. Every now and then you remind me, Pete, that I'm a beginner, and you are definitely an amazing photographer.

The lighting is perfect, and there is so much detail. Very impressive!

They inspire me to use my imagination more, if there is anything left of it, and try to go out and do something different of what I generally do. And do not copy. Thanks for kicking my butt Pete.;)
