I was going to say 1930's. But whether 20's or 30's its an evocative image. The blur helps create the mood beautifully. A very fine shot, Pete.

Thanks, both. Yes, I see what you mean about the period feel and the hats are probably what does it (they are actually both Ina's but Ruth borrow one for the walk). I liked the duality and lighting of the scene. I have a couple of slightly 'sharper' ones but this was my favourite.
