Well, the good news in our household today is Susan got her first job in three years - Research Fellow at Glasgow University. She has been through hell these last three years with cancer and the chipping away of her confidence. Can't tell you how happy we are!

Well, my photos look amazing, but yours, Chris, look terrible. You've gone WAY down in my estimation

Seriously, a lot better than what I've been seeing on my PC, but similar to what I see on my iPad - which is seriously good. No need for retinal display yet...and i7 is fast, especially with extra RAM I had installed!

Not totally impressed with the inbuilt speakers, but you can't have everything. Must be a way of syncing the sound to my hifi, without adding wires...?

You can use the Apple Airport to stream audio to a hi-fi, it has analog and optical outputs.

Apple - AirPort Express - A powerful little Wi-Fi base station.

I use this method to get audio from my Mac (upstairs) to my stereo (downstairs) - great set-up, and very effective.

It's quite a joke, isn't it. Yuk! I have never had one, honestly, but do like to joke about it. We eat healthily at chez MacKillop.

Just a kittle PS on the sound of the iMac - through headphones it sounds AMAZING! Good sound card in there, just crap speakers.
