Infra Red at the beach

As part of the outing with Darren B - I tried shooting IR at the beach with the X-Pro1

This gave me IR and long exposures, in each shot!

Love the blurring on the clouds. No 2 has it all though; infrared effect, water blur and cloud blur. Wonderful shot.

By the way, infrared is one word! :o

Smarty pants! :p

Thanks chaps - not sure that I'm as keen on the beach stuff as the foliage stuff - will have a play some more and sort out what works best.

Certainly some middle distance object of interest holds the detail better in infrared (see Pete, I'm a quick learner) - and that was not really happening with the beach shots I took.

Thanks Darren - it does make it look a little like a model from a Bond movie though, don't you think?

Thanks Davie - I think the combo of the IR changing the grey scales around, and the long exposures blurring the water and sky makes for a really different look.

Will probably try one when I do any traditional landscapes, just in case I get an interesting outcome

totally, it may turn out tio be something very special
