Are you referring to the bridge shots or the interior shots? For the interiors, it is an unconventional composition, to be sure. But I did that intentionally to use the leading lines from the dresser on the left. I think that's what makes it work.
Yes, the interior ... I certainly don't doubt your intention, and yes it's the dresser. I think it works as the dresser appears to be the subject with the girl being context rather than the other way round. As its an interior shot and not a portrait it works very well I think.
Two super sets Darren. Love the cool tones in the first and, as Chris says, keeping some movement works well. And the calm pose in the second fits well.
