Interior Architecture

So stylish Darren - she adds a lovely touch to the architecture

I like the movement blur idea - gives you the impression of a person moving in the space

I could imagine a stacked shot where she's sitting down, checking the window, picking up a magazine - all in the same frame

BTW - you open to doing a joint shoot at Chicano Park

I've been told that going there alone is a bad idea....

I'm happy to go down to Chicano Park sometime with you, Chris. But I don't think you have much to fear. I went down there alone once last fall to do a shoot for the San Diego Architecture Foundation and the Union-Tribune. Here are a few examples:

Send me a note and we'll figure out a time to head down there.

Nice!

Will do - thx :)

Are you referring to the bridge shots or the interior shots? For the interiors, it is an unconventional composition, to be sure. But I did that intentionally to use the leading lines from the dresser on the left. I think that's what makes it work.

Yes, the interior ... I certainly don't doubt your intention, and yes it's the dresser. I think it works as the dresser appears to be the subject with the girl being context rather than the other way round. As its an interior shot and not a portrait it works very well I think.

Exactly. I shot this as an architecture shot first. The woman was incidental to the shot. It wasn't a portrait, and that's the difference.
