IR Tree Fern

A bit more playing with the IR modified Fuji S3 Pro (http://www.realphotographersforum.com/specialist-macro-photography/12286-ir-fern.html). This time I decided to see if I could achieve some sort of colour effects. It seems that split toning might be the way to go.

Fuji S3 Pro Modified for IR Imaging + Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm ED Zoom. ISO 100, 1.5s at f1:11. PP in LR (curve, clarity and split toning) and Nik ColorFX Pro 4 (CP L05, Pro Contrast, Film Grain and Border).

Very good, Pete. The experiment seems successful. I like the two-tone effect, as it clarifies the structure, and provides depth.

Shame about the muddy splodge top right though. But an interesting experiment none-the-less.

Has a sort of retro feel to it and as Rob says certainly makes it more defined.
