Thanks Rob.Good one, Glenn. I like the wood too.
Ha...there's something about a drizzly morning here by the ocean. Ad an simple line (yes it's line vs rope ) and I can't help myself.it was a dark and stormy morning and you start out your day with rope?
Thanks Bobby...next time I walk by as the sun is rising I'll try to shoot the whole thing.Wonderfully textured capture. The lighting does a great job of sculpting the line and providing dimensionality to it rather than simply rendering it flat. I would live to see an alternative version of this showing the full coil
Thank you Julian.Smashing image Glenn.
Thanks @Brian Moore. I'm a life long fan...and I never thought I'd see a championship in my life...now I've seen 3 in 10 years! But...because of the bombing...this team was very special to this city.Congrats to the Sox @Glenn Clabo

Interesting Lesley. We live in what was the Boston Navy Yard...Charlestown Navy Yard. It closed in 1974 and has been slowly preserved and changed over to codo's. My wife's building was the sail loft...etc. We live a block away from where all the US Navy's cordage was made...The Rope Walk. It sounds just like what you are talking about. Here's a website http://charlestownropewalk.comI love coils of rope. We sometimes go to the old dockyard at Chatham and there is a building there, a quarter of a mile long, where they still make it. They use bicycles to get from one end of the place to the other. I love the texture on this too
