Wow spectacular Ivar. I have driven from the med into the French alps through Gap and Grenoble . Loved the scenery there and almost took a detour to the Italian Alps . Wish I had.

Ivar I see what Dave means by the sensor blobs. Two spots: One just about center, midway between the peak and the top edge of the frame; the other to the left of that and higher up.

However, wonderful image! Lovely foreground, delightful middle ground, dramatic background. Very big and powerful image overall. Well done, Ivar!

Stunning. Reminds me of the train ride I had from Paris to Milan, which went through the Alps - one of the best rail journeys in the world, I imagine. Beautiful shot, Ivar. I would not have noticed the spots if Brian hadn't pointed them out. Easy to remove, of course. I assume you have some kind of Photoshop?

I see the dust spots but they really never bother me, especially in a picture such as this. I'd rid of them if printing an image of course.

I now see them. Thank you Brian and Julian and all you folks for all the kind words. I do not miss Nikon 700 though, which was the tool at the time. Yes I do my ruining or enhancing in Photoshop 5,6 good enough for me Rob.

What a magnificent sense of scale Ivar. And very nice colours. There's a third sensor spot on the isolated cloud on the far left too.
