Dan Cattermole
Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
There's a new business that has started in November that has 7 shops around the U.K. Cheltenham being the closest to the midlands.
This shop is called Whole Foods.
I popped in on a lunch break to have a nose as you do.
I was invited by pristine presentation, vibrant coulors, and a friendly bunch of staff.
The shop is as big as any large grocery, and half the size of a supermarket.
First sight into the shop
It was like they let an OCD loose for the day to arrange the layout.
You didn't want to pick anything up in case the whole lot feel down.
Everything was available
Even white Asbaragus that I've been looking for since I moved to England!
Admittedly, the prices were no average supermarket budget, this is top end food, fresh, accompanied by extremely helpful staff, everything was labelled even down to its imported destination.
I think why I'm so exited about this shop is that it's a break away from the usual mass produced and manufactured junk that we call good food in out big branded supermarkets. I love exotic, fresh, and food most of you could label as uncommon, and certainly expensive it is to maintain such demanding taste buds if mine. So whilst the pockets are not that deep, this is something I could not do my weekly shop in.
Overall, this was a refreshing and really really good experience
Thanks for looking
