It's the Revolution

Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
I took my OM10 with the 28mm to the carnival last weekend down in Bridgwater.
It was a cold night for my little baby, so cold in fact, that it killed the batteries in it that controls the shutter speed.
And being the OM10, the light meter works automatically (with power of course) but without, it'll do 1/1000th all day long, or there abouts. And getting batteries for it, was too late, so I proceeded.

I'm sure many of you have been to a carnival and experienced the radiant light/heat that these monsters pump out. So a it wasn't going to be much of an issue shooting wide open (f/2.8).... Well at least I thought.

When I got the roll back (Fuji 200) it was a bit darker than I hoped, and even then it looks as though there was a correction on them too.... So in to LR they went.
after increasing the exposure by about 3 stops and messing about a bit.... I quite liked it.

My Oly is now, stripped, reloaded with new batteries, awaiting new light seals, and gagging for more film action.
