Jessop's Relaunches

Heard about this today.
It was quite predictable.

I heard about this as well looking at it he is looking more at the online sales I did read somewhere as well he is looking to more put Jessops back a few years with second hand sales and more knowlegeable staff as well

Time will tell, but I'd guess as an entrepreneur who is in the public eye and making a point of his affiliation he will likely be even more driven to succeed ...
Wpuld be nice if it did turn out well... Trained staff, in Jessops... A novel concept ;)

"customers to get products for the same price as online" what a concept! :D

If they build a B&H / Adorama / DigitalRev type model, based off of solid online sales and competitive pricing, then it should be a no brainer.

B&H have great pricing, the store actually has stock, and people who know what they are talking about - and winning combination.

Good luck to Jessops I say :)

I think once P J has the year end results through and sees how little profit there is he will dump it asap.Like Hamish said trained staff will be a new approach,Canon once told me it was a waste of their time and money training up the staff as the turn round of staff was ridiculous.

Saw it open on Market Street in Manchester on Thursday. In the morning it was stocking up, by 3 ish when I went passed it next, it was open to customers... Prices still through the roof mind. I looked at a mem card, it was £55 in jessops, £29 in calumet down the road. What's the point eh?
