Critique Welcomed Jet Blue

An extension of chromatic aberration in part. And in many ways more significant with a digital sensor due to the introduction of various artefacts. I suspect that many digital cameras would have shown some fringing with an image like this.

So, there are no fringe benefits? Too bad. I've taken a couple of similar shots out at Cramond, which is on the flight path, and they do come very close - but those shots both had fringing.

Nice one, Brian...Lovely blue.

Got it. Thanks, Pete! :)

Thanks, Rob. The intensity of the blue surprised me a little; it had been a while since I used Kodak's consumer grade film and I was happy with how the colors popped out. I did a little post processing in Lr as I recall, but the colors from this roll were quite nicely saturated to begin with. Thanks again, Rob.

Wow that's some blue - I like the shapes caused by the trees, and also the more distant trees at the base that form a repeating pattern

The oly has handled the flare rather well Brian

Did you get more than one plane landing?

Thanks, Chris. No, I didn't get another plane landing at this time, but I did get this one twice, once coming toward me and once going away (the picture above). Below is the one of it coming toward me. (@Pete Askew will undoubtedly be enchanted by the stars in the sky.;))

Sadie's vet is right under the flight path for JWA, so I have a once a month opportunity to grab a shot of a plane. (Although, this month I've had several chances; they found another sarcoma on Sadie's leg at her last check up. Curiously, they think it was not related to the first one that they removed just about a year ago. She had surgery on Wednesday, and we brought her home last night. I'm staying home with her today.)

Also, you're likely aware that since this plane is landing at John Wayne, it's not Jet Blue really. I think it was Southwest.

All the best to Sadie for her recovery

Definitely a Southwest plane - love the starfield on this latest shot ;)

A Comet. Well just above it anyway! ;)

I hope Sadie is up an about soon Brian.
Thanks, Pete. She's doing well. But I can't get her to go outside for a pee or a poop. The front and back doors have been open wide for her since 6 am and she won't go out. Although it has warmed up significantly now and she's sunbathing at the front door. She was drinking and eating like there was no tomorrow when I brought her home last night and what goes in must at some point come back out in some manner or form. I'm assuming the meds are doing strange things inside her body. thanks again, Pete.
