JOINING PETER

Having seen Peter's pics with the Helios 44, I thought I'd take mine for a spin. Only having the adapter for the Sony Nex 5N, I now know why I stopped using the lens. I do find the camera a pain to use, but did get a few shots before giving up.

One with the Helios, a prickly plant with green berries. Probably best not to be eaten.

Turn on the focus peaking, I have done on my NEX-3 really easy to shoot on now with MF lenses :)

Perhaps thats the next competition - Helios 44 lenses only?

David I do have peeking on. Although as you are aware it is not that accurate when using f2 or below. I know many think peeking is the answer but I much prefer split screen or plain old visual focusing. The camera is very slow with everything it does. A mistake purchase. Many people love theirs for me it is a pain, everything about it. But this is my only adapter for this lens a Nex to M42.
