Must be me then , I maybe interpreting something the wrong way round as can happen. I'll look back again afresh later.

I think it is just different foliage, Julian. This is very nice, Rob. The foreground almost looks lit by flash and contrasts nicely with the 'secret lagoon' behind. I bet you could tease a tiny bit of detail out of the those grass heads too.

I see what Julian is referring to now - it's just different foliage, as Pete says. No flash used, but it was the contrast that attracted me in the first place. Yes, I probably could squeeze a little more out of the grass heads, Pete, and might well do so.

If I'm seeing the same thing as you, Julian I think it is just how the light is reflecting off the foliage; it is visible in the reflection on the water too.

Definitely worth seeing this pond Rob.

Yes I came to that conclusion when I realised I was the odd one out. What confused me a little was that reflection being at odds with the reflection from the grass, but angles can be different I guess.
