Yep, it's happening, Kodak have just announced that they are killing-off T-Max P3200

Due to low sales volume, Kodak is ending production of KODAK PROFESSIONAL T-MAX P3200 Film (TMZ). The demand for ultra-high speed B&W film has declined significantly, and it is no longer practical to coat such a small volume of product.

They suggest you shoot T-Max 400 instead... which is fine, but it's not ISO 3200! Although they do sell it as a 'better all round alternative'

Another chapter in the sad decline :(

... Or just buy delta 3200 ... Or hp5 and push it ... :)

It's a shame though... I do find it odd though that they are basically saying "well, it was crap anyway... Just buy somthing else (that we will also stop making soon)"

When film is all gone,...or when it has become prohibitively expensive...I'll make my own emulsions and coat them on glass plates or tin or something and I'll make my own cameras out of wood. Its where we started. We can start again if necessary.
