La Sagrada Familia - Barcelona, Spain '14

I have just come back from a weekend break in Barcelona, so here are just a few photos to begin with...

There is no other church, temple, cathedral or mosque in the world that can rival or even come close to Antoni Gaudi’s splendid and majestic architectural masterpiece that is La Sagrada Familia!

It is all still an unfinished business, although surely, he must have thought that it could never be completed in his own time…If it’s not one of the world’s wonders, then it should be (when it’s complete), without a doubt…

Thanks, Pete.
They're converted from a DNG file, if that's what you mean...

I did! I have been a big fan of the various digital GRs over the years. I too have the current model and WA adapter but for some reason it don't gel like the others did. Probably just me. It is a tiny bit bigger than the previous models and compared with the Sony RX100 a lot larger and it felt bulky in my jacket pocket. I really must force myself to use it more.

Hey Pete, I have been a big advocate of previous GR's too. I have always liked the fact that the noise from these cameras looks so much like film grain. As for the latest GR, it is still small but light too, and no-one in the street notices me using it.
I have always loved the GR's 'snap' focus feature too, it is invaluable, I feel. You can't beat a 0.00 focus/ shoot time eh...

I have two adapters, one fitted to the GR with a 49mm B+W filter and hood fitted, and the other attached to the GW3...so it's just like changing lenses.

A wonderfully unique and extremely photogenic structure and you have done it justice with this classy set Paul. What wonderful embellishments there are in the ceiling/roof.

It looks amazing now, but I wish I could see it in a thousand years' time. Cathedrals are built to last, and seem to increase in power if left to accrue dust, dark corners, imaginary spirits, etc. could be incredible. Great shots!

A wonder set of images, Paul, very nice in indeed. They really convey the dizzying height and scale of the place.

You'll always get someone who will hijack another post to offer their trade services. Pete, It's a trade account for you and please keep such posts in the Trade Advertisements from now on, consider yourself warned.

Btw, how out of date are the fish fingers?
