In the last stages of the sun set, and as the full moon started the rise, the late on the exhaust from the heating system caught my eye in the gloaming.

Very interesting too, this one. I think it has something to do with the cones and rods — the way our eyes are structured and how the brain interprets the signals they send.

I suspect you may well be right, Gianluca. And I’m sure many of our myths and ‘sightings’ are a result of this as well.
