Critique Welcomed Larry's

Larry's (Cottonwood AZ) is a junk shop, or vintage antique center, depending on your viewpoint :D

It's packed to the roof with old cr@p, slowly rusting and decaying to the point where it's really expensive!

I have purchased the odd camera from Larry's, but yesterday I just spent my time shooting photos.

Spirit Of Radio

So many good subjects to photograph in a place like that. Colours and textures in abundance on top of memories of a time when a radio was a big deal. I still sometimes say wireless to my kids and they have not a clue, but having no wires was huge step forward. Look at us now.

Good stuff! I could spend a few hours there with a camera for sure!

Thanks everyone :)

It's a lovely place to spend a few hours - so much stuff that it boggles the mind.

Part of the fun is the 'remembering' - the 'I had one of those' moments

I love the fact that a lot of the stuff is outdoors and rusting away - I think the decay really adds to it's appeal for photography.

No way I would pay the prices they want for most of this stuff - but shooting it is free, and I only run a small risk that SWMBO will find something she has to have :D
