As Pete said, by not focusing in the face has made it for this shot I think.
I've got a wedding in September, I'll be pulling a few of those faces on the day. Lol

Oooh... very nice Hamish. I agree with Pete that by not focusing on his face, the look of distance and concentration has been enhanced. I once did an exhibition with Claire Morgan, who now seems to have gone exclusively into wedding photography. If you have a few minutes to spare, her web site is worth tracking down
