Last (Velvia) Roll with RB67 Pro SD

I'm not sad at letting the camera go - I just never got the best out of it. Only six images turned out, I don't know why the others didn't. Anyway, here they are. Farewell to all that. It was fun.

Agreed, Pete. I just couldn't be myself with it. I'm not down about it, though. I started photography about four or five years ago, and have been on a long learning curve - in many ways I'm still on it - and some things have worked really well, while others not quite so. I'm pleased to have learned a lot about photography along the way. Onward!

YOU may not be too keen on these images by I love the colors the film has produced and I especially like the one of the plants in the greenhouse.

The first one looks like it might have suffered a bit from camera shake. The second is as good as any image I've seen on this forum. The third one looks like a developing failure, but that seems strange given that the other images turned out. There's nothing wrong with the shot of the front of the greenhouse that some post-processing couldn't fix, although that blank sky is a bit of a problem.

One good image from a roll of 10 isn't really a bad ratio. Not when that one is as good as the shot through the window. However, I can see why you are disappointed. It's not exactly a point and shoot camera is it? I hope to have an easier time with my rb67, mainly because I'll be shooting under controlled lighting conditions.

Cheers, Lads. Yes, John, it is more of a studio camera. You should get on fine with it. The third image was taken in a very hot greenhouse, with the lens, the viewing screen, and my glasses all steaming up! Turned out better than I thought it would.
