Thank you Dave, but as I see it now, I think I should crop out the upper part all the way down to just a slight glimpse of the stone edge. The rest above is too powerful.

Not sure, I think the first version has better balance to it. If you cropped out the top completely, so just the water was visible, that might work. Just my opinion, others may well disagree!

I agree with Dave, Ivar. I think the first has better balance. What if you cropped it square, leaving the bird in the centerline of the frame?
