Thank you Pete and Rhonda for your comments. Every couple of years the local botanical gardens hosts a butterfly exhibit in their large conservatory. I usually make plans for at least one visit. The butterflies are released in the conservatory and fly about. So it is not as bad as shooting in the "wild" (most of the challenge is to get the shot before a small child walks near and disturbs the butterfly), and I get to see butterflies from all over the world.

The Leopard Lacewing is found from India to southern China, and Indochina (my photo is of the male of the species).

Our local zoo ha sa butterfly house and it is great fun capturing them with others flying around you. I got quite a fewgood ones on my trip there as well.
