Life Preserver

I was out and about with the cameras a day or so back and spotted this. An old life preserver alongside the Driffield navigation canal at a place called Wansford. The place took my attention. Nice half hour spent by the water.

Here is a colour version. I'm not at all sure which I prefer.

Back in the 70's, 80's and 90's I printed most if not all of my photography onto Agfa Record Rapid paper developed in D163 type developer for maximum warm tone. I still find that I love that hint of warmness.

B&W for me. Colour has, for me, to be doing something, earning its keep, otherwise it’s better left out.

normally i'd go with color, but i like the b&w here. the first one is very good.
