Lightroom 4 Beta is available for download, looks like the lightroom 3 special offer sales where for a reason

Nothing Earth shattering in the list but I will almost certainly upgrade when the version is released in final form.

If you d/l the beta does it overwrite v3 or sit alongside it?

V3 sat beside V2 if I remember right but the catalogues were not backwardly compatible. On their blog they state, "Lightroom 4 beta will not overwrite or interfere with a machine that currently has Lightroom 1, Lightroom 2 or Lightroom 3 installed." so it looks the same.
