Lightroom Question

I'm trying to place a watermark of my name onto an image using LR4.

In the Develop section I did "Lightroom"/Edit watermarks. I created one and clicked Save, giving it a name. Then the box closed, but the watermark does not appear on the image. What am I missing?

you have to tell lightroom to add that watermark at the export stage, it will then show in saved image outside of lightroom

right click an image, go to export, you are now faced with a window full of settings, bottom right of the window it says export, BEFORE you click this look through setting for watermark, tick it and choose the selected watermark you have made earlier then click export, the watermark will appear now on the photo you have just exported you can also chose transparency and size and location of watermark prior to final export.

Thanks, Darren! I managed it as you say, but had to choose a folder, file format etc first, otherwise the Watermark request was greyed out. Got there in the end! Many thanks.
