Critique Welcomed Living on the Edge

Most cliff-top views here on the West Coast, are naturally facing West. :p

However, this cliff is inland, above the city of Encinitas, and is on the edge of a canyon facing East.

Early morning - Cantebria Gardena Trail, looking North-East over Encinitas CA

I'll go back to this spot for sunrise and sunset, as I think the view out East has great potential.

Thanks everyone - not sure I'll make it for sunrise in the morning, but it's on the to-do list! :D

Chris,
This spot looks to have some real potential for some great landscape shots. Early morning would certainly be good. Send me a plane ticket and I'll join you for sunrise some morning. ;)

Check's in the mail Ralph! ;)

As I suspected, I did not make it for sunrise this morning - must have been the margaritas fault! :D :D

Early start this morning (4:30am) - returned to the same location and took some shots of dawn, looking East.

Just me and a coyote up at daybreak - lovely peaceful start to the weekend :)

Also too the MF Fuji, so we'll see if daybreak worked in B&W 50 ASA Ilford!

Really like the pinky sky. Ive been going to Stratford Olympic Park once in a while in the morning 6am hoping for a pinky morning.

Thanks everyone - weather forecast was promising, and the sky the night before had been good, so it was worth the gamble.

In contrast, today dawned with a marine layer and no sun, so I chose the right day!

Ahmad - are you able to get access, or can you only shoot from outside the park (i.e. from the road running through it)?

Paul - you have no idea! :D :D :D
