London street

Jim Kuo

The man in the hat
London streets are full of wonderful opportunities. Headed out to do one of the last few rounds of shooting before school starts.

The complete look (boots, purse, and a tiny dog). Her outfit caught my eye, so I just went for it. She did look at me angrily but I just smiled and kept walking. :)

Thanks for looking.

:)

I try not to be unkind, but her look is unusual. :)

I agree with the point about the look in #2, my eye is drawn to her after seeing the big lens. :D

Good work Jim, taking the bull by the horns and getting some nice stuff to boot :) but you defo been clocked in the second one..two disapproving looks me thinks :D

OMG! :D

Nice capture Jim.

1st Shot is brilliant Jim, really great shot & colourful character to, which makes it a win win street shot for me.

Sounds a bit Freudian to me Jim!

The woman in number one does seem like a character and there are so many interesting contradictions in the image. Her facial expression and hand with the large ring seems like they should belong on a mean club doorman. The boots seem to nicely match the doors in the background but not her outfit. Also she (I guess) has tried to look feminine with a touch of class but hasn't really hit the nail on the head.

Oddly despite all of that she doesn't seem out of place in her surroundings however.

Jim - that new look is fantastic - you just look like a street photographer now! :)

Thanks Chris, I thought if I expect to behave eccentrically on the street, I ought to look the part, hence the hat to complete the odd look. :)

I'm a fan of number two.......... Great capture.
