Looking across to Flint

I decided to dig out a photo I took a year ago

It was looking across the estuary to Flint and I hoping to achieve this with some camera shake. It was a very dark twilight with heavy overcast so to achieve a sharp picture was impossible without a tripod.

Thanks for looking :)

That works..............I can see that as a contemporary piece hanging in some corporate block the board room, :D OK I may be getting a bit carried away with the board room but seriously it would fit. Very similar to scanography in appearance, I Like it Dan you should replicate down a Digilis looking across to the new builds :)

Kev, I was about to say the same thing - very edgy, and I would think very saleable

You know what guys, I was looking on google and was trying to locate this exact location....... And, I got it wrong.... Not too wrong though, it's in a place called Neston (about 10 miles south west of Ellesmere Port in fact) looking over the estuary/marshlands to a place called Flint in North Wales.... Ooops... Sorry folks, I knew I wasn't too far off. Only 10 mile out.
I only remebered it as Ellesmere Port because that's where I was working at the time. Lol

Hamish, Is there any way you can change the title to 'Looking across Flint' please my man?!? :) :)

When I took this photo, I didn't think it was much cop to be honest, so I left it on my hard drive and completely forgot about it (nearly the location too) 12 months later I see it in such a different manner. I really like it now. :)

Oh wow!!! Very fast an efficient service there pete! I'm impressed. Is there a way I could of done that or do you have special access to the master control station? Lol

I think you need moderator access. Some things only admin can do though but changing headings, blocking the 'odd' post and deleting things (like duplicate posts) can be done by any of the moderators. I just happened to log in at the right time!!

Very nice Dan its strange at times there always seem to be shots you take discard then when you look back think again thats better than I thought

I know what you mean by that 100%!! It's like... The ability to take good photos was always there, but the apreciational acknowledgment of what you took wasn't.... Come to think about it, I really do like this take, and I was only clearing my external hard drive up and deleting a load when I stumbled across this...... Then I thought... Hhhmmmmm. Lol
