Wow, now that is just luscious. What fantastic colours and detail - just look at those clouds.

Many thanks Pete , you must have dug deep to have found this post. I like certain of the qualities which is why I posted it. The light that afternoon was very contrasty and brought out the vivid colour of the rhododendrons.

He has a site with a forum, which initially if I remember correctly had a bias towards landscape photography. One of the better ones in it's day. Not as good as here of course

Lesley thank you. It was one of those days with, bright sun, mixture of dark grey and white sweeping cloud, were the sun breaks and gives just moments of intense contrast. this was the only,
shot I got of with this light. Mainly it did not last long, I also fumbled and missed the slot.

Probably Chris. South? Almost as far south as one can get on the mainland. Hours drive form the Lizard.If Julian had mentioned beer, I bet this would have been picked up earlier!
