Looks like the gun has been spiked. I guess this tank saw action somewhere.

It certainly did, the note affixed says it's a 1943 production. The sides and the turret are riddled with heavy machine gun hits.

This really has captured the feeling of strength. Tanks certainly were certainly smaller in those days too.
