Making a hole

While working on a project a couple of days ago, I thought, "this would make a nice photo".
So I took a photo. And another. And another... "This will be cool!", I thought, imagining a whole series along the same lines, winning prizes and trophies, left right and centre.

But - turns out snaps of holes are not actually very exciting, even when they're black and white (more artistic don't you know ).

Anyway, I thought you might find it amusing!

Well, intriguing at the very least, and the lighting is very interesting. So, what sprays into the box?

Ha, nothing - sort of. All the pics are looking from inside what will be a shower unit, into the space under the sink next to it. Plumbing goes through the hole, and that's the sink drain in the last photo.
