Two photographs were made with LF (4x5) wood view camera. First one is with a Schneider Super Angulon 75mm/5.6 lens with Ilford FB4+ film and Ilfotech DD-X developer, and the second one is with Schneider 150mm/5.6 Apo-Symmar L, IR 72 filter with Efke IR820 Auro infrared film (discontinued) and Ilfotech DD-X developer. Berlebach Report 3032 wood tripod was used on both.

Just took a look through your website Nihat - stunning stuff

Especially like the IR in Yosemite - wonderful combination of trees, water and clouds in IR

Chris, thank you very much. Yosemite makes us good photographers. It is an amazing place. :)

Indeed - how do you go about having your film scanned BTW?

I had a Nikon 4000 for 35mm color slides in 2002. In 2012, I purchased an Epson V750 PRO to scan 35mm, 6x7, 4x5.

The Three Sisters is just stunning. One of my favourite shots. The Tunnel Tree made me very nostalgic for my first encyclopaedia when I was about 4 or 5 years old. It was a picture book, and one image showed a family driving through a tree tunnel. I thought that must be the most amazing thing to ever experience :)

I just love your photography, Nihat. You are a master, no doubt.

Rob, Thank you very much for your kind comments. :) What an interesting encounter you had with the tunnel trees when you were a child! I wish you experience and photograph them one day. We, your friends, are here, you know. :) Sequoia groves and Redwood forests give me humility and wisdom. They are the living history.

I consider myself as a person who loves beauty and deals with the confusion and the dark side of humanity by creating meaningful photography and music. I seek tranquility and practice meditation in both. When it is liked and acquired, it does not feed my ego. However, I feel very happy and content as I believe what we all do, brings goodness and healing to humanity's existence. However, it is a struggle against strong currents. A struggle we should keep alive, as I cannot imagine a society without arts and music. :)

Brian, thank you very much indeed. I am very glad to have found friends like you. :)
