Critique Welcomed Marine Layer

Amazing light this evening as the marine layer fog started to roll in after the sun had gone down.

Taken at Oceanside Pier, at low tide.

Reflection

Both shots X-Pro1 and 18mm Lens - spot metered exposure using Zone System

Lovely shots Chris. Especially that first one. Stunning. The reflections in the wet sand and the patterns in the cloud / fog really are wonderful. And I guess the extra care taken with the metering really paid off is eeking out the last scraps of detail.

Yes, amazing amount of detail for such low light. Love the figure in the middle one, but wanting it in black and white. LOL. You can only please some of the people some of the time!

Thanks everyone

I do find it interesting to see what appeals to folks - I like the B&W but also the color, I couldn't decide on just one or the other!

Typical Rob & Beth - never satisfied :D

They do need to replace that bulb on the left hand tower - spoils the symmetry - first time I've stayed long enough to get the lights Julian.
