Marv Goldsher

And once again thanks to all of you for the responses. I'm immediately into "healthy" information overload, but this is fun. And I'm hearing the "language", getting comfortable with it, and will gradually absorb & learn. Y'all have a great day!

Just take things a step at a time, I started photography about 18 months ago, had no clue what I should be doing or what the aperture ment to the image, what shutter speed is needed etc. I now contact print my own cyanotypes and am currently building my own large format camera and lens.

Just take it a step at a time and ask questions, we have all been there and the only way you can learn is to try it out and ask questions, key thing is to have fun :)

Hello, Peter...Yes, I already am enjoying the "community" of Real Photographers. You--at this moment a gracious example of why. Thanks for your "welcome" words. I just via ebay bought and received a Canon FTb-n QL. Time to shoot and join the group in a practical sense. Looking forward to exchanging thoughts and ideas with all of you. Best wishes marv g
