MEN AT WORK

#4 - the close-up - lovely study

Love the toning on these, Julian. The subject matter is always interesting, and I can see why you kept the last one in colour, albeit subdued. Very nice set.

Thanky people. Beth I was spotted on several occasions. I know most of them, some quite well, many look mean but are seriously good people, hard working and would help anyone in need. It is a close community often seen as very insular from outside . This time last year a fisherman who I grew up with drowned at sea not to far of the coast. An occurrence that happens all to often within our fishing fleets, this always leaves a heavy heart.
I would love to go out one night and take pictures whilst they work at sea, but physically it not really a sensible idea. Maybe though maybe .

These are just amazing. Wow I love 4 and 5. For someone living banal USA central, I just love looking them. It really takes somewhere different. Somewhere I would much rather be. Again, great photos. I just spent 10 minutes scrolling up and down. I know now I need to think about a vacation next year. Sorry for the repetitiveness, but just really great photos!!!

Great Series Julian ........... Number Three is my Favourite. (The fella fixing the net).
