Merlin Tower at Weymouth

This was in January, 2013. The tower has a gondolier which rises up, then down. As it was early morning the tower was closed.

We nearly went up there on our pre-christmas holiday in Weymouth in December, but it wasn't open for another hour and a bit so we didn't bother waiting.

There is a nice conflicting feeling in this beautiful silhouette image. While, the tower with flags (nice spread) and the light polls give a feeling of perspective ant depth, the building seem to stand lined up. I liked it.
