MEVAGISSEY

Just an amazing place to be, Julian. You made me put this on my list of places to visit. Colours are so appealing. :)

Well Julian...We have many places that look "like" this here in New England and I think I know what you are saying. However, as one who has never actually seen this particular one...you certainly captured it well enough for me to say...WOW! That is stunning.

Hi Julian

You have managed to bring back my memories of last November when we stopped there for a week and one place I would genuinely love to live.. Our apartment was just behind and to the right of where you took this. Great image capturing the colours and tranquillity of the area. Thanks for the memories so well captured of Mevagissy. This working fishing village would really be stuck in time if it was not for the through traffic.

Very very nice. Reminds me of being there only a month ago. :)

Hmm...I'm not sure :o looks a wee bit over saturated to me, Julian, and a bit chaotic. So I'm wondering what it would like in black and white?

Golden glory Julian - what a wonderful time of day to make the most of the color palette at hand

Little shadow recovery in evidence?

Truth is on these summer days I have toned down the saturation. It is more colorful. The camera does not capture the truth that's for sure, also my capability is restricted. Not everywhere is grey and gloomy :D.
Interesting you say B+W I often test an image to see if it is s good one compositionaley by converting it. This one is not good.

Probably a lot of recovery. But not much processing. The DR is huge as the sun is behind, the sky very bright the water very dark. The best pics from here are at sun rise, at the moment 4.30 am or so. Might wait a week or two.
