Our apartment was just behind and to the right of where you took this. Great image capturing the colours and tranquillity of the area. Thanks for the memories so well captured of Mevagissy. This working fishing village would really be stuck in time if it was not for the through traffic.

Truth is on these summer days I have toned down the saturation. It is more colorful. The camera does not capture the truth that's for sure, also my capability is restricted. Not everywhere is grey and gloomy .
Interesting you say B+W I often test an image to see if it is s good one compositionaley by converting it. This one is not good.

Probably a lot of recovery. But not much processing. The DR is huge as the sun is behind, the sky very bright the water very dark. The best pics from here are at sun rise, at the moment 4.30 am or so. Might wait a week or two.
