Finding myself on the harbour most days at the moment. Picked up or given a big bag of fish, two large bass and a huge pollack. All chopped and in the freezer now. That is a good reason to be there , the other is to chit chat with friends I meet, the other is to take a photo or two.

It's good to feel part of the community, I suppose. I'm sure they'd like to see these images, Julian. How about a local exhibition? They could pay you in fish ;)

Rob, from what I understand, he does not have more storage place for fish. Can you imagine how much fish he would get?:D The first image is how I remember it albeit not in that beautiful glow of light. The two others are really interesting and possibly not something I would have seen. Lovely images Julian.

Why? they give me fish for just being me ;) There are many smashing guys and girls among the community, of course many I grew up with.
Many do look on Flickr to see themselves, I do have an image or two donated to the local museum which I took when I was about twenty or so, it was the new air ambulance, one of the first I believe in the country, landing to rush a local woman who had fallen over blackberry picking, needing to get to the local hospital some twenty odd miles away. That was my public peak as a photographer ;). I do print some off and give them to the fishermen if I think the shot is worthy. As for exhibition? I am experienced enough to know I do not wish to spoil a much enjoyed hobby.
I do though have a small project idea, I'll post first here if it makes any progress.

Thank you Ivar. Indeed I did take some of the fish that evening to a friend who appreciates good fresh fish, something I like to do or I feel a glutton , also best not to home freeze to much as, although it keeps well for short periods, not so great over time. But wow it is otherwise sooooo tasty.

Wow...these are awesome Julian. The composition and lighting and amazing in all three. My favorite photo is the second one down. I just said "wow..." when I saw that.

Thank you Cathy. I said wow as I looked over the side and wobbled close to the edge. I've taken lots from this point at the moorings, I now get close to the edge by a ladder where which I can grab if about to go in.
