MEVAGISSEY

Well acted I thought but I was very disappointed. Especially by the cinematography and lighting.

Watched Interstellar tonight as a contrast. Much more impressive.
Yes I think the poor lighting was a big attribute to how it came across and maybe the biggest detriment is the digital which I presume was used rather than film which would be more costly. .

Well back to the image again, the one in front of me, not the one on peoples mind mind you, is like a painting to me and I can only conclude that here, you have made a masterpiece no painter can do better. It seems that the Olymp has things I have to explore. I wish you had a 14-42mm ez pancake for it, which would be both more convenient for you and just as good a lens if not better.

thank you Ivar. I have painted in this form in the past with oils and acrylics, many years ago and wished I'd kept it up. But I did not and if you dont use it you do lose it.
The Live Time which is available in manual mode and you click the big wheel to alter the shutter time and reach it one or two clicks after the Bulb time. The 12-50 kit I find has some sweet focal length spots with certain apertures, it also works very well as a good lens where the light is not too intense. I have tossed and turned abot getting more lenses for the E-M5, the 12-40 pro or the 12mm f2 or the Panasonic 15mm f1.7. All these though are an investment which you need to be certain about and not make snap decisions. At least when you need to be careful.
But yes I'll look into the 14- 42 EZ.

Well as the weather here is sunny in Telemark, Pentax has a holiday. With Oly I never seem to make up my mind what to take along. So I take the EM10 ( I really love it and yes I am lazy ), with the 14 - 42mm ez and the 60mm on the EM5. The 25mm Leica/1,4 and the 45mm/1,8 are there at hand as well. Tiny equipment as you know and fits in my little pouch. The whole lot. ( Most of my pictures from Denmark and garden here are done with EM10 and the 14-42mm ez ). Haven't reached Dave's GASP yet and shall never do:eek:

I have a sparkle when you mention the said 60mm, if that is the very esteemed Olympus 1:1 macro lens with the limiter? Yet what I do is to use extension tubes on the greatly revered 75mm f1.8 of which I used this evening down at Mevagissey. Although tubes are cumbersome against a dedicated macro lens.

In the Uk here I see. as Olympus has officially discontinued the E-5 MK1, the last of the stock are being sold with the 12-40 f2.8 at not a great deal more than the lens alone. A bargain for the person who maybe going towards a m4/3 system for the first time. Or even dare I say a second time ;)
