This is a shot of an approach marker at RAF Donna Nook in Lincolnshire. It was shot using a Pentax 645 with standard lens loaded with Ilford FP4+ developed using FX39.

Brilliant! That's all I can say.... Speechless! :)

Those are awesome :D The first shot looks like habitation pods or something on the surface of another planet :)

Thank you so much for all of your positive comments. To answer a couple of them, yes the area certainly does flood quite badly as it is all on a very flat beach in Lincolnshire which is very low lying and yes, I have to agree, they do indeed look like habitation pods on the surface of another planet but they also remind me of the sort of rocket used by Wallace and Grommit in 'A Grand Day Out'.
I shall continue to use film so long as film continues to give me the kind of look I am seeking and for as long as film is available but I am not totally against digital it is just that I shoot black and white and that is where digital falls flat on its face. I am soon to start using Kodak T-Max 100 developed in FX39 as I love that combination so much.
So long for now and very best wishes.

I think the whole look of the first image, the 'rocket' cones, the landscape, the grain in the B&W - it all gels in a wonderful retro sci-fi feel

Nice use of overhead sun as well
