It's the first one for me!
Thats a really great photo for me!
Simple compo perfectly executed!
The toning is spot on too ... That's a winner in my books!
Brilliant Dan, especially 1 & 2. The ethereal look to the first and the over compressed PP to the second and very different to each other but work well for their respective images.
Thanks you guys.
Needless to say I'm really chuffed with the outcome of these shots considering I failed to get to the waterfall I was after. Lol.
It amazing how tranquil the coastal line is at 6a.m.
I have to admit, the second shot was taken with the fisheye, 3 shots layered and tone mapped (as the fisheye's high contrast struggles with even tones), slightly cropped from the top and horizon straightened.
Very minimal PP with the first and last.
Split toned the first one and B&W for the second one all shots sharpened 30%. And that's pretty much the proccess for all shots.
I also found it suprising how well an ND filter gains a nice even control of tones in landscapes especialy.
I'm forever checkin my histogram and while the ND it works wonders!
Great buy IMO
That first shot is simply wonderful. You've obviously become suffused by the spirit of Turner since visiting the mystic glen (that's what it reminds me of). The boat is a fabulous shot too. But the first is the star of these three I think. It certainly deserves to be up on a wall.
You should be chuffed with this set Dan. They really are beautiful. I would be hard pressed to say which is my favourite because they all have a different atmosphere
