Everything's a blur with me these days Pete. I do vaguely recall standing on tip-toe (with manual focus of course) and trying to get that leading edge in focus. What were the guidelines back then? Set the focus and then rock backwards and forwards until it looks right. Heaven only knows what the commuters thought...
