Mnt. Etna, Sicily, Italy.

I like the compressed perspective Ivar - putting the people and their houses up against the big bad volcano

Thank you folks. To you Rob. I did get around quite a lot, but it is over a long period of time. Now I'm quieted down by my love ones temperary illness hopefully, but we try to make about two trips a year to abroad. Since Telemark Norway is the navel of this world, it is quite easy to get to places in Europe. Longer trips are more rare these days. But hoping and planning is great fun too.

Mt. Etna looks amazing - the colours, in contrast with the foreground is great. You are so lucky to be in such a beautiful landscape.

Very VERY Nice Ivar.

The difference between the far landscape is and the houses is certainly a great contrast.
I'd be interested to see a B&W version of it, or even muted colours...

What do you think? :)

I made one in black and white, but...Well you can see for yourself. I don't think that works really. Not the way I did it anyhow.Mnt. Etna, Sicily april 08..jpg
